Hi,
I'm asking because I think we need someone to help us out with the actual situation of emulators and their 15khz-non friendliness.
Since the 15khz hack of Zsnes by SailorSat (thank you so much for this one), we have been a long way and a lot of great emulators are now there but unusable in "proper" 15khz ( they don't allow automatic resolution switching whereas we definitely need it for those systems):
- Bsnes and/or Snes9x are much much better than Zsnes nowadays
- Mednafen is the best and really accurate for PSX and PC-Engine
So we finally have those really high quality emulators for 15khz systems but we can't play them correctly with a 15khz CRT screen...
Our luck is that now all of them (and much more) are packed under RetroArch (which is open source) and we have Switchres that is open source too, so what we need is a hero that hack it or implement Switchres to it and sadly I know only SailorSat so far that can do that (sorry ).
Please take this favor in consideration.
