Hi,
Just wondering if the diffs work for the point release versions (i.e. .138u3) when I am compiling, or would we need new diffs for each point release?
Thanks,
Kevin

When you are compiling MAME (or MAMEUI etc), and you want to do the updates to the latest version (see here, you apply them to the original MAME source code as a diff. The mods that CabMAME enable are also Diffs, however some things can change between say version 0.138 and 0.138u3.
If you look here the CabMAME diffs are available, I'm just asking if they will work on .138u3.
Well...
They MAY work with U-versions.
Depends on what changed

Merging the diffs and compiling doesn't take much time. Just try it .
