bei ebay England werden Arcade Collections mit über 5000 Spielen verkauft. Es wird sogar extra als MAME Arcade beworben. Ist der Verkauf ohne die entsprechenden PCBs in England erlaubt?

Soll das ne ernst gemeinte Frage sein???? Copyright ist Copyright ... nein, das ist nicht erlaubt. Wie und ob das in manchen Ländern verfolgt wird ist eine andere Frage, allein die Behandlung durch eBay unterscheidet sich signifikant.

PS: In den Lizenzbedingungen von Mame und den meisten anderen Emulatoren steht ganz klar, dass diese ohne Ausdrückliche Genehmigung gar nicht verkauft werden dürfen, schon gar nicht in Verbindung mit ROMs. Bei Mame ist sogar der Einsatz im kommerziellen Bereich verboten, da halten sich aber hier in D auch nicht alle dran ... Burn in hell, kann ich da nur sagen ...

Hier mal die Q&As von Mame, keine Ahnung, warum solche Fragen wie deine überhaupt gestellt werden, wo die Lage doch so klar ist ... Ich glaube das Unrechtsbewusstsein hört bei Software generell auf. Scheinbar ist allgemein das Gefühl, dass alles was umsonst ist, auch beliebig verwurstet werden darf sehr verbreitet ...

However we still do not explicitly give permission to use MAME in this way because of the possibility of the game being sold sometime later, which would constitute commercial use of MAME. If you sell your game later you must sell it without MAME included.

Ich frag mich da immer wieviele von denen die bei solchen Angeboten mit dem Finger zeigen selber das Copyright treten indem sie Roms horten die sie zwar nicht gekauft aber illegal runtergeladen haben...
