Hello,

I'm having some problems with modelines, and 320x240 resolution.

The 320x240 resolution is whown as "native" in arcade OSD, so i can't edit the modeline, and the picture is not shown correctly in this resolution (doubled).
Second thing is, i can't see the 320x256 (320x240 neither) resolution in quickres, i added this one in my usermodes.txt and installed it with soft15.
Restarted my computer, but this resolution is not available... any idea ?

My configuration is an Athlon XP 3200+ and the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (AGP).

Other resolutions are working fine in 15Khz on my CRT TV (like 256x224, 384x288, ...)

I'm a little lost on modelines...

Thanks for your Help

The default ATI drivers don't support 320 pixels width (the doublescan them).
Soft-15kHz therefore adds 1 pixel in width - take a look for 321x240

Hi, thanks for your answer.

I uninstalled all the ati drivers and soft15, then, i installed modified drivers version 9.3 for ATI.
Now all good, in 320x240 ! (Without installing soft15).
I'm not using my Athlon XP 3200+ and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (AGP), but an intel E6300 with ATI X300SE (PCI-E). I think that those modified drivers are working for the 9800 pro too.

But, if you have more than 60 modelines, hyperspin and hyperHQ won't launch.

So, i used Winmodelines (windows app, found on google) to delete all the modelines i don't need.

Now all good ;)

PS : I know that soft15 installation add 321x240 modelines, but i can't see it in QuickRes. Strange.
