Hi from France !

Since the ATI Radeon HD4650 was succesfully tested here, I decided to buy one myself for my Astro City arcade cabinet. It only costed me 36 euros, but sadly it didn't show any image, with or without dongle. Fortunately, I also have a HD4350, and it works like a charm with the latest Catalyst drivers (12.3). But I'd like the HD4650 to work too, and that's why I'm asking for your help.

Here are the specs :

- MSI Radeon HD4650 PCI-E with 1Gb DDR3
- Astro City arcade cabinet connected to the PC with a J PAC from Ultimarc
- Genuine 29'' CRT Flat Square screen which only support 15KHz.
- Tested with drivers on bundle DVD (Catalyst 9.0 I think...) and also with 10.3 and 12.3

Result : no image at all when the Windows dekstop should appear (the green led on the J PAC turns off, meaning no 15KHz signal is sent).

Thanks for your help !

Ah... sounds like a classic "primary head" problem.
Since these cards have multiple outputs, try the "other" one (most likely you'll need a DVI-VGA adapter).

Thanks for answering so fast !

I tried with the DVI port a few minutes ago, and it worked perfectly !

Thanks again for your tip, and most of all thanks for this wonderful tool : Soft15 !
