Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried this card with soft 15Khz?

I've looked through all the cards that work, but can't find this one.

It's quite expensive, so want to know before I buy it.

I'm wanting to run the "Supermodel" emulator which is very GPU intensive.

Thanks http://community.arcadeinfo.de/images/icons/icon6.png

As Model 3 did run on 31kHz hires displays, you won't need soft15khz unless you really want to run a super hires arcade racer on a lowres arcade screen.

Back to topic. Well don't know. Could work with XP or XP64. Most likely won't work with Vista/Seven.

Thanks for that.

According to KLOV.com. Daytona 2 is Medium resolution (25 Khz). The reason I want 15 Khz is because I've restored a Scud Racer, and am running MAME and Model 2 games (but want to add the Supermodel emulator).

My monitor chassis can do both 15 and 25Khz, would I get better results with 25Khz and soft 15.

I will be using XP 64 bit.

If anyone has tested this video card and can advise, it would be much appreciated.

Ah ok, then my memory fooled me. 25kHz should work as fine as 15kHz.
I can give my 560 (non TI) a try on sunday.

31khz actually is plain VGA (640x480, 60Hz), and works even without S15K :)

Hi thanks for the reply SailarSat that means i can use any card than with this 31khz arcade monitor without the use of S15khz because it only out puts 31khz only.
